Description
Diary relating to the First World War service of 25 Lance Corporal Thomas James Richards, 1st Australian Field Ambulance (AFA). The entries in this diary span the period 12 October to 8 November 1916 and cover the return of the 1st AFA to France in the area of Buire, following the movement of the 1st Division back to the Somme. This diary was originally bound by Richards into the third of four volumes and donated to the Australian War Memorial in 1933.
