Description
Diary relating to the post-war service of Mary Ann ‘Bessie’ Pocock. This handwritten diary contains regular entries for the period February 1928 to July 1931. Her entries detail her personal life during this period and also relate to the convalescent hospital she had established at Chatswood in 1924, which she had named ‘Ismailia’ after her time in Egypt during the First World War.
