Collection related to 2784336 Signalman Stuart Lindsay Weller, 104 Signal Squadron, and his service in Vietnam between 1967 and 1968.
Description
A home in the newly assembled village of Ap Suoi Nghe, created by Australians for the purpose of relocating villagers from VC-controlled areas. One of 477 colour 35mm transparencies taken or collected by 2784336 Signalman (Sig) Stuart Lindsay Weller, 104 Signal Squadron, relating to his service in Vietnam between 1967 and 1968. Sig Weller writes: "... it shows a close up of one of the 'houses' we built for the relocated families. Our task apparently, was to salvage anything and everything we could from anywhere and add it to 'our' houses as often as we could. I think it would be fair to say there was a lot of scope for assistance."
