Photographs and photographic postcards relating to the First World War service of 712 Second Lieutenant Henry Miller Lanser, 1st Australian Infantry Battalion, 1915-1930.

This collection of photographs and photographic postcards includes images of Henry Miller Lanser during several different periods of active service in Egypt. Photographs featuring Lanser clean-shaven were taken during his first period of active service in Egypt from December 1914 to April 1915. Photographs of Lanser sporting a moustache correspond with a period he spent convalescing in Egypt from May to June 1915, after being wounded in action at Gallipoli.
