Correspondence between Herbert Vincent Reynolds and his family, 1918-1919
Letters relating to the First World War service of 622 Private Herbert Vincent Reynolds, 1st Field Ambulance. These letters written by Herbert and his mother were written between 1 January 1918 and 14 December 1919. In his letters he covers: the items he receives in parcels from both his mother and charities; his convalescent time in England; Christmas 1917; his time spent on leave with his relatives in Macclesfield; his return to the front and his description of scenery of the places he goes to at the front. Also included are letters from relatives mentioning when they had last seen Herbert.
