Description

File of letters relating to the First World War service of Lieutenant Colonel Owen Glendower Howell-Price, 3rd Australian Infantry Battalion. These letters includes a personal letter from Owen's previous commanding officer Lieutenant Colonel Robert Haylock Owen; signal of commendation from General Harold Bridgwood Walker and two letters of condolence from men in the 3rd battalion. The original letters were loaned for copying to the Australian War Memorial in 1927 and were returned to Mrs Howell-Price when completed. The current location of the originals is unknown.
