Diary related to the Korean War/British Commonwealth Occupation Force service of 3/1997 Sergeant Keith Lindsay Lewtas, Royal Australian Army Ordnance Corps. This diary written between 14 July 1951 and 31 December 1952 mentions: settling back into Japan; the Peace Treaty with Japan [Treaty of San Francisco]; the end of the British Commonwealth Occupation Force; his joining the regular army in the Royal Australian Army Ordnance Corps; his return to Australia; details of possible pension plans from the army; the positives things he found in Japan; his opinion of 'Time of Fallen Blossoms' written by Allan S. Clifton; duties with the ordinance corps in Melbourne and various methods of trying to get back to Japan.
