Description

Postcards and letters relating to the Second World War service of NX31913 Private Robert Albert Gray, 2/5th Australian General Hospital. Robert Albert Gray corresponded with his niece Daphne and his brother Joseph in 1942 and 1943 while he was a prisoner of war in the German Camp, Stalag XXA. Though brief, Gray’s postcards and letters mention aspects of his life in the camp, including the cold weather, snow, and being tired of imprisonment.
