Description
Snowy landscape en route to FOB Baylough. Footage taken by Captain Jason Otter, 5th Aviation Regiment (5 Avn Regt) from the cockpit of Australian Army CH-45D Chinook A15-202. Note the AH-64 Apache providing overwatch in the distance. Captain Otter later wrote: "Combat Services Support (CSS) Mission, Kandahar-Baylough-Qalat-Mizan-Kandahar Mission, duration 4.0 hours. Flying Pilot Lieutenant Kenny Cross. Mission imagery commences with AWM2019.311.8.158. Additional footage taken in sequence is captured from AWM2019.311.8.153 to AWM2019.311.8.157 (6 video files). The six files capture the snow covered high terrain to the north of the Area of operations (AO) with imagery moving into the aircraft capturing the crew".
