Description
The First World War diary of David Maxwell Harding Smith. This manuscript is a direct transcription of Lance Corporal Smith's 5 diaries. It gives a very detailed account of his service with the 7th Field Ambulance at Gallipoli and in the Flanders and Somme Valley areas. Annotations, appendices and illustrations have been added by Dr. W. Wardman.
