Description
A canvas suncover shields the perspex canopy of a RAAF Canberra aircraft while it sits in the revetments. Note the aircraft's distinctive plexiglass nosecone and the escape hatch (behind the pilot's canopy) which indicates the windowless space where the navigator sat. During a visual strike the navigator crawled forward past the pilot and lay in the nose section while using the bombsight. (Donor B.E.S. Williamson)
