Description
Collection of poems relating to Corporal Raymond John Colenso, 2/18 Battalion. Handwritten originals and typescript copy of 'Poems from the frontline' written by Colenso prior to being killed in action at Singapore in February 1942. Some poems are patriotic, some are sarcastic, others are heartfelt messages regarding seperation from family members.
