Townsville, Qld. 1942. The sleeping quarters, consisting of mosquito nets hanging over stretcher beds, on the open verandahs of a former convent known as The Little Flower. This building was one of several that were taken over by the RAAF to be used as barracks for the Women's Auxiliary Australian Air Force (WAAAF).
