Ensign Midget Model 22 Camera Case : Sergeant B J E Morris, WAAAF
Description
Brown leather case for Ensign Midget Model 22 camera. The case has an adjustable carry strap and a flap opening secured by a press stud fastening. In faint writing underneath the flap is '92530 RAAF' and some other indistinguishable text.
History / Summary
Associated with the service of 92530 Sergeant Barbara Joan Esther Morris (later Wicks), born 26 April 1923 in Mosman, New South Wales. Morris enlisted in the Women's Auxiliary Australian Air Force on 2 October 1941 and served in Melbourne, Townsville and Charters Towers. She was discharged on 30 November 1945.
