Lieutenant Colonel E. E. Herrod CMG DSO (left), and Lieutenant H. F. O'Neill standing in the doorway at the Headquarters of the 7th Australian Infantry Battalion. This log cabin was built by Canadian railway troops, who were engaged for a considerable time in this sector in constructing and operating railways previous to the German advance.
