A view of the Heilly Cemetery in which many members of the 12th Brigade are buried, including Brigadier General Duncan Glasfurd (late General Officer Commanding of 12th Brigade). Brigadier General Glasfurd was mortally wounded by a German shell on 12 November 1916 at 'Cheese Road' near Flers. The first grave in the left foreground is that of 247723 Gunner (Gnr) William Henry Miles, D Battery, 150th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery who died on 6 June 1918. The next grave belongs to 750 Sergeant (Sgt) Ernest Arthur Smith, 22nd Battalion, killed in action (KIA) on 7 June 1918.
