Biographical note: Corporal, 2nd Mg Bn, AIF. Died of illness on 4 November 1918. Commercial traveller of Camperdown, NSW; born Balmain, NSW, educated Kegworth Superior Public School, Leichhardt, NSW; served four years with Sydney Scottish Rifles; joined AIF 24 May 1916; age at time of death, 31 years 10 months.
