Studio portrait of NX60320 Private (Pte) Jack Osbaldeston Eddison, 2/20th Battalion, 8th Division who died as a Prisoner of War (POW) in Yokohama Japan on 7 June 1943. His brother, 563 Flight Lieutenant Edward Dalkeith Eddison, 30 Squadron RAAF, died eleven days earlier while on flying operations in New Guinea on 27 May 1943. The brothers were born in Mottisfont, Hampshire, England and the family lived in Canberra ACT.
