Description
A German L.V.G. CV 2 seater reconnaissance aircraft brought down by Australian Flying Corps Officers Brown and Finlay on 22 August 1918. From left to right are Captain Allan Runcieman Brown DFC, Major S W Addison and Lieutenant Garfield Finlay. The aircraft was brought back to Australia post war but was one of a number of aircraft accidentally destroyed by fire at the Australian War Museum in Melbourne in the 1920s.
