Description
A German L.V.G. CV 2 seater reconnaissance aircraft brought down by Australian Flying Corps Officers Brown and Finlay on 22.8.1918. Captain Allan Runcieman Brown and Major S W Addison are standing in front of the aircraft and Lieutenant Garfield Finlay is standing to the right behind the aircraft. The aircraft was brought back to Australia post war but was one of a number of aircraft accidentally destroyed by fire at the Australian War Museum in Melbourne in the 1920s.
