Collection relating to 17539 Sapper Murray Parkes, 1st Australian Cavalry Divisional Signal Squadron and 1 Australian Wireless Squadron, 1916-1919. This large collection contains correspondence between Parkes and various family members including his mother, sister and aunts; training notes; photographs; notebooks with poetry and stories; miscellaneous tickets and souvenirs; handwritten notes etc.
