History / Summary
Associated with the service of 592 Sergeant Charles Thomas Law. Law, a 33 year old sailor from Great Britain, whose next of kin were listed as living at Guernsey, in the Channel Islands, enlisted in 26 Infantry Battalion, AIF, on 29 April 1915. In September 1918 he was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal for gallantry in the 2nd Australian Division's attack on Mont St. Quentin. Law returned to Australia on 8 April 1919. His Victory Medal is missing from his medal group.
