Description
Manuscript and bound typescript of "The Silver King" - memoirs based on Gallwey's letters and diaries of the 1914-1918 war. The detailed account records the conditions and daily occurrences experienced while at various training camps, on active service at Bullecourt and Messines, recuperating from illness and aboard transport ships. Includes illustrations, speeches and anecdotes.
