Description

Private Stanley Edgar Thomas Moroney enlisted to the Second Australian Imperial Force on 20 June 1940. He served with 2/101 General Transport Company in the Middle East and Australia. Although he was formally discharged on 23 February 1944, Private Moroney continued to serve as part of the Citizens’ Military Forces. On 27 April 1947, Private Moroney was killed in a road accident in New South Wales. He is buried at Woronora General Cemetery, Sydney, New South Wales.
