Lieutenant William Riggall
Description
Lieutenant William Riggall enlisted in the Second Australian Imperial Force on 30 July 1942. He was posted to 7th Division Headquarters, and served as the aide de camp to Major General George Alan Vasey in New Guinea and Australia. On 5 March 1945, Lieutenant Riggall was killed alongside Major General Vasey when their plane crashed off the coast of Queensland. He is commemorated at the Sydney Memorial, New South Wales.
