Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. Of envelope design, this postcard features a pink rose and a yellow flower in the centre and a decorative blue border intertwined with greenery. A small plastic card insert features a handpainted purple pansy with the message "Thinking of you [Claver]".
