Description
This folder contains 5 telegrams exchanged or received by Field Marshal Lord William Birdwood between 17 September and 19 October 1917. This set of correspondence also includes telegrams from the Australian Minister of Defence, George Foster Pearce; the Secretary of State for the Colonies, Walter Long; and Sir Ronald Craufurd Munro Ferguson, Governor-General of Australia.
