File of papers relating to the First World War service of Lieutenant General Sir John Monash, Repatriation and Demobilisation, AIF. This file, originally part of Book 23, covers 24 September 1919 to 26 December 1919 and includes material relating to the of publishing the 'History of the Repatriation and Demobilisation department', the closing of the demobilisation department, the timeframe to which remaining staff in Europe can demobilise, and the number of soldiers left in Europe one year after the Armistice in 1918.
