Chinese/North Korean communications
Although they used radios for communications between headquarters, most of Chinese tactical communications equipment was quite basic. Chinese troops used whistles, bugles, flares and lights to pass on orders and reports. The Chinese bugle calls were often quite unnerving for UN soldiers.
