The Memorial welcomes your participation on this site. The terms and conditions below are intended to ensure a better website for everyone.

By participating in this site, you agree to the terms of use. The Memorial is not liable for any loss, claim or damage of any kind resulting in use of this website, and reserves the right to at any time:

  • Revoke accounts, and/or remove or edit contributions
  • Modify the terms and conditions of use
  • Remove the options to transcribe material
  • Modify or remove information published on the site

Personal stories and comments

We welcome your personal stories and  comments. 

The Memorial will review personal stories and comments, and will delete any that we judge to be inappropriate. The grounds for deletion include profanity and personal attacks, as well as comments that are libelous or defamatory, or are irrelevant to the discussion, or merely spam. We reserve the right to publish, edit, or remove any comments. 

The Memorial will use automated tools to block spam, advertising material and offensive words.

If you believe that a personal story and comment that has been posted is inappropriate, please let us know by emailing webmaster@awm.gov.au.

Privacy

When you register to post a comment, we will not use the email address you provide us unless you ask us to do so and we will not pass your email address on to a third party.
