Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of 1187 Lieutenant Clarence Herbert Dakin, 5th Machine Gun Company, France. Collection consists of five detailed diaries covering service in Gallipoli and France. The last entry in the diary is dated three days before Dakin was killed in action on 15 April 1917 in France.
