Model fire fighting sand disc : Sergeant A Worsfold, AIF Research Section, Imber Court Experimental Grounds

Circular disc, made from an inner and an outer ring of 15mm wide cardboard with compartments contained within the resultant ring. These have been filled with sand and the entire assembly has then been overlaid in layers of papier-mached brown paper.

This model illustrates one of the many inventions of 12096 Private Alexander Worsfold, 9th Australian Field Ambulance.
