Description
Rectangular mosquito net of green nylon mesh with a solid brown nylon section at the bottom. A makers label reads 'C G C F VICTORIA 1963 (broad arrow) 8465 66012 1390' and it is also stamped 'D (broad arrow) D C. G. C. F.'.
History / Summary
Used by Brian Alabaster during his service with the Australian Citizen's Military Force during the 1960s and 1970s. In 1964 Alabaster enlisted as a private in 3 Battalion. He later served with the Royal Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and was discharged in 1982 with the rank of major.
