Description
American Legion badge. The badge is embroidered onto a large black felt circle. The central design is a wreath surrounding a 5 pointed star. Within the star are the letters 'US' surrounded by a ring. The central design is embroidered in tan and brown. The outer part of the badge consists of a blue ring with the words 'AMERICAN LEGION' embroidered in yellow cotton. Surrounding the outside of the ring are stylised rays of sunlight embroidered alternately in yellow and orange.
