Description
Enamelled pressed brass hat badge for 52 Battalion, featuring a voided '52' within a wreath augmented by a spray of wattle, over a pair of scrolls bearing the words 'Always Ready / The Gippsland Regiment'. Both wreath and scrolls are enamelled in a mid-green. A pair of suspension lugs are soldered to the reverse.
