Description
Enamelled, pressed brass collar badge for 59 Battalion, featuring a '59' within a belted circle, the motto 'Fidelis et Audux' (bold and faithful) in circumference, bordered by a circular array of swords and bayonets and surmounted by the King's Crown. This design sits over a trio of scrolls bearing the words 'Coburg-Brunswick Regiment'. The wreath, central device and crown are enamelled in red. A pair of suspension lugs are soldered to the reverse.
