Diary of Ronald Alison McInnis, 1917-1918
Description
Diary relating to the First World War service of 399 Lieutenant Ronald Alison McInnis, 53rd Battalion. Written between 10 November 1917 and 31 December 1918, this diary written in an address book, McInnis details his experiences as an engineer whilst serving with 53rd Battalion. Serving on the Western Front, he describes the offensive against the Hindenburg Line near Bellicourt in September 1918. Also included in the book are the name and address of people McInnis knew.
