Description

Diary relating to the First World War service of 622 Private Herbert Vincent Reynolds, 1st Australian Field Ambulance. Covering the period from 2 December 1914 to 23 August 1915, this diary details the time from Reynold's embarkation to his later medical evacuation from Gallipoli. He describes the landing at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915 in great detail, and the intense fighting around Sari Bair and Lone Pine in August 1915. Also included is his subsequent medical evacuation from Gallipoli in late August 1915.
