This file contains 27 official photographs and postcards collected by Field Marshal Lord William Birdwood. These items relate to the Western Front and Birdwood’s post-war visit to Australia with his wife, Lady Janetta Hope Gonville Birdwood, and his daughter, Judith. Items in this file that include a photographs number in the description can also be found separately on the Memorial’s website with a more detailed caption. There are also several postcards taken from a series showing ruins of Ypres as a result of the First World War.
