Maps and aerial photographs relating to the First World War service of Lieutenant-Colonel James Murdoch Archer Durrant, 1915-1918.

This file contains maps and aerial photographs collected by James Murdoch Archer Durrant during his service at Gallipoli and on the Western Front in northern France. A number of the maps are annotated and provide an insight into the preparations and responsibilities related to Durrant's role as commanding officer of the 13th Infantry Battalion for operations including the Battle of Pozieres, Attack on Stormy Trench, First Battle of Bullecourt and Attack on Morlancourt Ridge.
