Official documentation relating to the Second World War service of 7950 Sergeant John Slater, Armoured Car Company, Federated Malay States Volunteer Force. Included among the documents are a volunteer's service and pay book which was used by Slater during his service with the Volunteer Force, and a nominal roll written while he was a prisoner of war in Malaya. Also included are a letter praising Slater for his conduct while serving, certificates relating to his service including his medals and discharge, and a will that bequeaths all his possessions to his wife, Anne, upon his death.
