Description
Collection relating to 7950 Sergeant John Slater, Armoured Car Company, Federated Malay States Volunteer Force, 1942-1949. It comprises correspondence written by Slater to his wife Anne, 1942-1945, including Prisoner of War cards from his time in Changi and camps in Thailand while working on the Burma Thailand Railway. Also included are Slater's will, and documents relating to his war medals.
