Description
Studio portrait of Lieutenant (Lt) Albert Bissett Amess MC, 36th Battalion. Lt Amess, who was from Kyogle, NSW, was awarded the Military Cross for his action on 4 April 1918 during the first battle of Villers Bretonneux. Amess attended No. 5 Officer Training School at Duntroon on 21 December 1916.
