Description

Pair of 1950 Pattern jungle green cotton drill trousers. The trousers have a pleated front, thick waistband and concealed four button fly closure. The waistband extends on either side of the fly to form two belt ends which loop through metal buckles attached to the waistband. The trousers have two side pockets, two inset back pockets with button flap closure and one patch pocket on the left leg above the knee also with button flap closure. This pocket has a reinforcing strip sewn behind the flap. A green label inside the rear waistband reads: 'AQUAROCK TROUSERS DRILL SCC. 15 Green 1950 Pattn. Size No. 5' Below this are further size details, a Broad Arrow, and a date which appears to be '1953'. 'SCC. 15 Green' relates to the British standard camouflage colour, Number 15 being a jungle green.
