Evans, Wilfred (Major, b.1889 - d.1957)
Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of Major Wilfred Evans MC who served with the Australian Army Medical Corps (AAMC). Collection consists of letters describing his work with the AAMC during the Gallipoli campaign, in Egypt and in Damascus. Of special note are two letters and notes from 1930 commenting on 'Lawrence and Arabs' by Robert Graves.
