Boydell, Maurice Grant (Lieutenant, b.1908 - d.1985)
Description
Collection relating to the Second World War service of QX6141 Maurice Grant Boydell, 2/1 Anti-Tank Regiment, prisoner of war in Germany. Collection consists of four original hand written diaries written between 1941 and 1945 covering his capture in Greece and time as a prisoner of war of the Germans. For ease of access, a typed transcript has been included in the collection.
The diary of a fellow prisoner of war, Lieutenant William Richard Bates, is in the Memorial's collection as PR89/175.
