Description
Collection relating to the service of Lieutenant Hector Roy McLarty, MM, 8 Battery, 3 Field Artillery Brigade, AIF, at sea, Egypt, Gallipoli, France, Belgium, England, 1914-1918. Collection consists of typescript extracts made by the Australian War Memorial in 1929-1930, from a bound copy of letters loaned to the AWM by Lieutenant McLarty. The original letters were written between 18 November 1914 and 7 August 1918. Location of originals unknown.
