Commissioning pennant : HMAS Jervis Bay
Description
White bunting commissioning pennant with red nylon cross of St George appliqued in machine zig zag stitch on both sides. The plain white synthetic canvas hoist has a white metal reinforced hole taking a length of hemp rope 16 cm long. The free end of the rope is attached to a wooden toggle.

Ship's commissioning pennant flown by HMAS Jervis Bay on voyages between Darwin and Dili, between 1999 and 2001, in support of Australian troops in East Timor.
