Group portrait of three soldiers of 2/3 Battalion. Identified from left to right: NX4503 Corporal Leslie James (Les) Payne; possibly V147784 Private Matthew 'Tiger' McGurran and NX4757 Lance Sergeant Dugald Roderick (Doug) Hood, who accidentally drowned on 27 January 1945 in New Guinea, aged 30.
