This series contains material collected and compiled by George Gordon McCrae, the father of Major Geoffrey Gordon McCrae of the 7th Battalion and later the 60th Battalion. Included are: a book of poems and particulars (including newspaper clippings) relating to the war and McCrae’s service; letters from Harold Edward (Pompey) Elliott and other regarding McCrae’s service and the war; newspaper clippings relating to the war effort; information on the battle of Fleurbaix (Fromelles); personal medical prescription for his father George.
